Terms and Conditions of Service
Last updated: [14th June 2025]
1. Services Provided
I offer online tutoring in Maths and Literacy for children aged 8-11 (Year 4-6). Lessons are delivered via Google Meet, unless otherwise agreed.
2. Booking and Payment
All lessons must be booked in advance via email, with payment required at the time of booking by direct debit.
Group tuition is available as termly packages only, with fees calculated based on the number of weeks in each term. Individual group sessions are not available; booking for the full term secures your child’s place throughout. One-to-one sessions may be booked either for the full term or as individual sessions, depending on your preference and availability.
Current fees:
-
KS2: £40 per 1-hour session
-
11+: £50 per 1-hour session
-
Please note that lesson fees are reviewed periodically and may be revised with 30 days’ notice.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Each booking with Razza Tuition is for a complete termly package, covering a fixed number of sessions for that academic term. Please note that if your child misses a session for any reason, it cannot be refunded or rescheduled. This is because each place is reserved exclusively, and time and resources are planned in advance to ensure the best learning experience. Thank you for your understanding and for helping to support a consistent learning routine.
4. Lesson Conduct
Sessions are for the booked student only and may be attended with a responsible adult present nearby. Please ensure a quiet, distraction-free environment with necessary equipment (device, internet). Recording lessons is not permitted unless agreed beforehand for safeguarding or review purposes.
5. Responsibilities
Tutor: Provide lessons tailored to the student’s needs. Maintain a safe, respectful online environment.
Parent/Guardian: Ensure the student attends punctually and has the right setup. Support the student’s learning outside lessons. Communicate any relevant issues or needs.
6. Safeguarding
I adhere to UK safeguarding guidelines to protect all students. I hold a current [DBS check or relevant safeguarding qualification] and follow clear procedures to report concerns.
7. Liability
While I strive to provide excellent tutoring, I cannot guarantee specific academic results. I am not liable for technical issues beyond my control. Parents/guardians remain responsible for their child’s wellbeing during lessons.
8. Data Protection
Your personal information is handled in accordance with my [Privacy Policy](link to your privacy policy).
9. Complaints
If you have any concerns about the service, please contact me at [email address]. I will aim to resolve issues promptly and fairly.
10. Changes to Terms
I may update these Terms occasionally. You will be notified of significant changes.
By booking or attending sessions, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
